A short while ago, Ronn Motor Co. released what must be considered breakthrough
news. As you can see by the picture here and and the press release below,
having California governor Arnold Swarzenegger request to see the Scorpion,
the gorgeous supercar that combines fuel efficiency with high performance,
is an enormous step for Ronn which has now strung together several major
successes. Considering that The Terminator's interest in the Hummer was
widely credited with launching mass interest in the vehicle, any interest
from Governor Schwarzenegger has to be seen as a strong positive.

Governor Schwarzenegger Test Drives Ronn Motor's Hydrogen
Assisted Scorpion(TM) Supercar
AUSTIN, TX----Mar 11, 2009 -- On Tuesday, March 10, 2009, California
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger test drove Ronn Motor Company's (Other OTC:RNNM.PK
- News) acclaimed Scorpion(TM), a hydrogen assisted eco-exotic sports car
capable of hitting 40 miles per gallon and 200 miles per hour. The test
drive with Ronn Motor's founder and CEO Ronn Maxwell in the passenger seat,
came after Schwarzenegger read a recent article in Men's Journal which
proclaimed the Scorpion(TM) as "God's Own Supercar."
Schwarzenegger is consistently on record as an advocate of fuel efficiency
and as an automobile enthusiast. His well-publicized interest in the Hummer
was seen as a critical moment in that brand's expansion and popularity.  Additionally
and according to the Washington Post, Schwarzenegger had one of
his beloved Hummers retooled to run on alternative fuels. In 2006, the
actor-turned-governor signed the nation's first environmental law of its
kind, committing the state to lowering its greenhouse gas production to
1990 levels by 2020 and setting up an international program that provides
manufacturers with incentives to lower carbon emissions by 2012.
After receiving an inquiry from Schwarzenegger directly after the Men's
Journal hit newsstands, Maxwell fulfilled his promise to bring the car
to California, parking the curvaceous Scorpion(TM) on the steps of the
Capital building for a photo-op with the news media and a curious public.
During the press conference, the governor talked about his ongoing support
of small boutique companies such as Ronn Motor Company, which are developing
much needed alternative energy technologies so that America can reclaim
its leadership in the automotive industry. Schwarzenegger asserted his
desire that the Big 3 auto makers take more initiative in alternative energy
solutions that are good for the country. The Governor also stated that
he was pleased with Ronn Motor Company for creating new jobs and opportunities
for California.
